RTA kitchen cabinets come in many forms: particle board cabinets, MDF cabinets, and high quality all wood cabinets.
Particle board is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood particles, such as wood chips, sawmill shavings, or even saw dust, and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded. Particleboard is a type of fiberboard, a composite material.
Medium-density fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down softwood into wood fibers, combining it with wax and a resin binder, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure. It is somewhat denser than normal particle board.
Particle board and MDF cabinets tend to sag and swell especially when exposed to moisture. Also, both materials tend to break or split, especially if screws or nails are used. Screws will have a tendency to lose their grip because the material is made of shredded wood or paper. Screw and nails work much better in plywood or solid wood material. Most of the kitchen cabinets available at major Home Centers are made of fiberboard or partial board.
Wholesale RTA Cabinets feature a quality plywood cabinet box and solid wood face frames and doors. The best all wood material makes for the best RTA kitchen cabinets at our deeply discounted prices.
Most of the RTA kitchen cabinets available at major Home Centers are made of inferior materials, such as particle board or MDF. Wholesale RTA Cabinets feature a quality plywood cabinet box and solid wood face frames and doors. The best all wood material makes for the best RTA kitchen cabinets at our deeply discounted prices.
That’s a common misconception that many people have. At Wholesale RTA Cabinets standard lead time is 1-2 weeks. Home Centers typically make you wait anywhere from 5 to 8 weeks for your kitchen cabinets.

Wholesale RTA Cabinets offers customers to either pick up their wood cabinets from our Bucks County, PA warehouse or we can ship the order to your address. The standard freight rate for kitchen cabinets to any of the 48 contiguous states is $100 plus 7.5% of the total order amount. We ship all of our cabinets from our warehouses. They are packed on pallets and delivered to your door via a common carrier or if the order is small enough by UPS.
All of our RTA kitchen cabinets first vigorously inspected to ensure that the cabinets are to standard. We pack them in individual cardboard boxes, then they are placed on pallet were we shrink wrap the entire pallet.
Once the order is placed, we contact you and provide you with all the tracking information (freight company name, phone number and shipment tracking number). You can then track the shipment and contact the freight company when the shipment reaches your area. You can then work with the freight company to schedule a delivery time.
The common carriers are equipped with a liftgate (a steel elevator-like platform at the end of the truck) to lower the merchandise off the truck down to the street level. You will be responsible for unloading the truck. The pallets that the cabinets are on can be broken down on the truck and the individual packages (generally 50 to 60 lbs.) removed.
We make every effort possible to ensure that you receive your order without damage, however on occasion there are conditions beyond our control that will cause damage during the shipping process. Should you receive a damaged item, please take a picture of the damage and notify us at once. We will send you a replacement part out on a rush order. Be sure to indicate on any receiving tickets from a freight carrier what items are damaged. If damage is not noticed until the package is opened (known as concealed damage) call the freight carrier & have them send a rep out to verify damage. We will handle all damage claims, but we must have documentation.
Wholesale RTA Cabinets accepts all major credit cards including Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Card.
